If you’ve been at all interested in the pyramid of global finance, you’ve probably read quite a lot about the few families at the top and their centuries long domination of the world’s corrupt financial systems. The familiar names are: Goldman Sachs, Rockefellers, Lehmans and Kuhn Loebs of New York; the Rothschilds of Paris and London; the Warburgs of Hamburg; the Lazards of Paris; and the Israel Moses Seifs of Rome.
I don’t want to repeat what you can easily find elsewhere, but since Goldman Sachs has so blatantly infiltrated the US government and was so visibly involved in the 2008 financial crash, I thought it might be interesting to take a peek at what they’re up to.
In the 1930’s populism resurfaced in America after Goldman Sachs, Lehman Bank and others profited from the Crash of 1929. House Banking Committee Chairman Louis McFadden (D-NY) said of the Great Depression,
“It was no accident. It was a carefully contrived occurrence…The international bankers sought to bring about a condition of despair here so they might emerge as rulers of us all”.
From “The Great Crash of 1929”. John Kenneth Galbraith. Houghton, Mifflin Company. Boston. 1979. p.148
The above link about the eight-family cartel who controls the world’s financial system is absolutely eye-opening, even for those of us who have been aware of this before. To understand that these same people created the last depression deliberately, just as they did this one, is a sobering realization. I highly recommend you read the entire article.
Today, Goldman Sachs is trying to punish a small community bank for honoring its customer: Occupy Wall Street. You can’t make this stuff up! http://www.moneytrendsresearch.com/goldman-sachs-threatens-small-community-bank-for-banking-with-ows-protestors/
But why, if the U.S. Government investigated and prosecuted this wealthy cartel after they caused the last depression, why the “wrist slap” this time?
Goldman Sachs is one of the banking families that own the Federal Reserve. According to Dennis Kucinich, the Federal Reserve has effectively taken over our government.
And, by having their bought-and-paid-for politicians deregulate the banking industry, much of the swindling, deception and outright theft perpetrated by Goldman Sachs was completely legal this time. http://www.alternet.org/news/146539/how_deregulation_fueled_goldman%27s_scam/
Even though I have entitled this post using the word villains, I do feel that these individuals who are so greedy and grasping as to put the entire world in jepordy are unwell, sad people. And so, a quote from Aldous Huxley seems appropriate to insert here. Many feel I am naive to believe this, but it resonates strongly with me:
“It is because we don’t know who we are, because we are unaware that the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, that we behave in the generally silly, the often insane, the sometimes criminal ways that are so characteristically human. We are saved, we are liberated and enlightened, by perceiving the hitherto unperceived good that is already within us, by returning to our eternal ground and remaining where, without knowing it, we have always been.”
~ Aldous Huxley Quotes from The Perennial Philosophy
